Liz in the kayak

On a perfect evening. I kayaked over to the other side of the lake, where our neighbors had pointed out a tree they thought held an eagles' nest. But I've seen eagles' nests before (they can weigh a ton or more) and there clearly wasn't one in any of the likely trees. But we still saw eagles and osprey and the hummingbirds were delighted to have us back taking care of their needs.
