meeting on the highway

Ed & Beth were coming down from the U.P. the same day we were heading up. Thanks to the miracle of cell phones we were able to meet long enough for the dogs to sniff each other and to pass off to Ed and Beth to some of the bagels I'd bought in New York that morning. I felt very clever.
