Marine Air Terminal, LaGuardia
We took a Delta flight from Midway to LaGuardia. I was astonished to land at terminal not a lot bigger than the Marquette County Airport (excuse me, Sawyer International Airport). It's the old Marine Air Terminal, built for the PanAm Yankee Clippers that took off from the water and landed in Europe 18 hours later. Housing this statute of LaGuardia himself and the country's largest WPA mural.
And yes, yes, I know. LaGuardia is in Queens, not Manhattan. So sue me.
