David Brooks Arnold

David Brooks Arnold is a non-lawyer member of the committee. When I realized that he was both a Quaker and had worked for a Cambodian relief organization I was smart enough to ask if he knew Uncle Dave. The answer was that yes, after he'd resigned from the State Department because they wouldn't listen to his predicitions of disaster in Vietnam, Dave had gotten him into peace work, which became his life's vocation. The year was 1965!
